Genting Highlands, December 2016 – TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016 TVB馬來西亞星光薈萃頒獎典禮2016 has been successfully held on 26th November 2016 at Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands. After the awards show, there was
a post-event press conference whereby the media members get to interview the
winners!

Press Conference Session With Joyce

& Mat Yeung楊明 :
Q1: Joyce, it has been nearly 12 years since
you have won an award in Malaysia. Do you have anything you wish to say to the
Malaysian fans?
Joyce: “Thanks to all of the Malaysian audiences.
Thanks to you all, we can still continue with our dreams!”
“Although
there has been no hesitation in my pursue towards acting, this award is a very
touching gift for me as it has proven that my efforts do paid off.”
Q2: Mat, congratulations for winning My Favorite TVB Actor in a Supporting Role最喜愛TVB男配角! Is this the most important awards for
your career?
Mat: “Yeah. But actually the awards I won last year, My Favorite Most Improved TVB Actor 最喜愛TVB飛躍進步男藝員 was also very important to me as it was my
first awards ever. This year, there are many competitors for My Favorite TVB Actor in a Supporting Role最喜愛TVB男配角 and they consist of many experienced veterans.
I felt really happy for being able to win it.”
Q3: Were there many things which went across
your mind as you received this awards on stage?
Mat: “When on stage, the memories of the past 18
years of efforts have flown through my mind. I wanted to thank all of the
people who have brought me up. Besides, I would also like to thank the make-up
staffs and the crews behind the scenes. They have always been very supportive
to me and always tried to encourage me when they are doing make-up for me.”
Q4: Mat, just now you have mentioned your
girlfriend’s name twice on stage! Is there any good news you want to share with
us regarding your relationship?
Mat: “At the moment, there is no further news yet. I
just hope that I didn’t forget to thank anyone whom I should thank of.”
Q5: Joyce, is there anyone whom you want to
specially thanks to?
Joyce: “I want to thank TVB because it is a family which is very supportive to me. I have
been working in TVB for many years
and I spent most of my time here. Even my mother questioned whether I am a
“Missing Person” as I was seldom at home.”
“I would
also like to thank 珍姐 for supporting us artistes. We won’t be here if not because of her. In
addition, I would also like to thank Bobby
Au-Yeung for teaching me a lot since my first day in acting. He taught me
how to take position, deliver dialogues and etc. He’s just like a real brother
to me.”
