Genting Highlands, December 2016 – TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016 TVB馬來西亞星光薈萃頒獎典禮2016 has been successfully held on 26th November 2016 at Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands. After the awards show, there was
a post-event press conference whereby the media members get to interview the
winners!

Moon Lau劉佩玥:
Q1: Jonathan, how are you going to celebrate
for your win tonight?
Jonathan : “I am definitely going back to eat
claypot lamb. Usually my wife won’t cook it because she doesn’t like to eat
lamb. However, she will definitely let me eat this time because she would want
to let me feel even happier.”
“My wife
told me that she has cried even before I started speaking on stage. I need to
repay my wife’s support all these while and this first awards is definitely a
gift for us.””
Q2: Moon, how do you feel now? You have participated in
many dramas this year and now you have won this award.
Moon: “I felt like crying. I am very happy to know a lot of
colleagues from front and behind the scenes as they have taught me a lot. I am
very grateful and I will continue to work hard in my career.”
“I would also like
to thank all of the producers who have used me in their dramas especially Joe
who has allowed me, a newbie in acting to take up a variety of different roles.
I would also like to thank the producer of “A Fist Within Four Walls” for letting me take part in the drama.”
Q3: Jonathan, is
there anything else you would like to share with the audiences and media
members?
Jonathan: “ These 16 years have been tough years
for me. Every year me and my wife would be watching the awards shows but none
of them involved me. I always thought that I wouldn’t have such a chance at all
to sit there among the nominees in awards shows. But my wife has been very
supportive all the time and kept on motivating me by saying, “Next year it will
be your turn.””
“I would
also like to thank Andy Lau because
he was the one who brought me into this field. During the first 5-6 years of my
acting career, he was the one who has given me a lot of opportunity till some
people even called me Andy’s God Son.”
“I don’t
want to climb up using his names. So, for the past 10 years, I haven’t really
contacted him. But now I finally can show him the result I have today. In
addition, I would also like to thank 珍姐 for giving me so
much of opportunity.”
