Kuala Lumpur, November 2016 – Co-organized by TVB Entertainment News and Astro, the annual awards ceremony TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016 (TVB馬來西亞星光薈萃頒獎典禮2016) will be held on 26th November 2016 (Saturday) at Arena of Stars, Resort World Genting, Malaysia.
The
awards ceremony will be live broadcasted in a few countries including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and
New Zealand. The voting for the
awards will be open to all Malaysians and fans will be able to cast their votes
for their favourite dramas and artistes.

conjunction with that, a few of the nominees including Joyce Tang滕麗名, Koni Lui呂慧儀, Hong Cheung張穎康, Ali Lee李佳芯 , Grace Chan陳凱琳, Sisley Choi蔡思貝, Mat Yeung楊明 , Katy Kung 龔嘉欣 and Candice Chiu 趙希洛 have come over to Malaysia during last month from
13th October 2016 – 15th
October 2016 to promote regarding the upcoming award ceremony as well as
meet & greet with the fans in Malaysia.
Introduction of Mobile Application of “TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016”!
“TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016” mobile
apps has been introduced on 13th
October 2016 during the press
conference in Astro, Bukit Jalil. A
magical performance was presented when the apps was announced.
Via this apps,
Malaysian audience can browse the nomination lists, artiste interviews and
up-to-date entertainment news with a click of their finger on their smartphones
and tablets. The apps user can also vote for their favourite dramas, actors,
songs, variety shows and etc. Audience can search for “@TVBJadePack” or visit the TVB
Jade Pack Facebook Page for more news regarding the awards ceremony.
During their promo
event, 9 of the artistes have visited Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh to meet-and-greet
with fans and call for votes.
Grace Chan 陳凱琳 Call For Votes For Boyfriend, Kevin Cheng!
Instead
of promoting herself for votes, Grace Chan陳凱琳 called for a vote for
nominations which include his boyfriend Kevin
Cheng. She wished that Kevin Cheng can has a higher chance to win an award
in TVB Star Awards 2016.
Katy Kung 龔嘉欣 Happy For Being A Nominee in Favourite TVB Most Improved
Actress!
Katy Kung 龔嘉欣 was very delighted to know that she was
nominated in the category of Favourite
TVB Most Improved Actress despite herself has already been acting for many
years in TVB Dramas.
Sisley Choi蔡思貝’s opinion over nomination!
TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016 Provided
opportunity for Candice Chiu 趙希洛!
For Sisley Choi蔡思貝, she felt that every nominee is already a winner for being
nominated in their respective category. In addition, she also shared that she
has a relationship role with Mat Yeung in
an upcoming drama.
Candice Chiu 趙希洛 felt very grateful as TVB Star Awards has
given her another chance to be nominated. She mentioned that her first
nomination ever in acting career was also during TVB Star Awards which happened
last year in Malaysia.
Ali Lee李佳芯 thanks all of her fans for being supportive!
Mat Yeung楊明 was asked on whether he has visited his partner’s
parents?!!
Ali Lee 李佳芯 has received a lot
of positive remarks recently for her acting in Law dis-Order 律政強人. Being one of the upcoming stars in TVB,
she is very grateful to be given so many opportunities and she thanked the audiences
for liking her roles in the dramas.
Mat Yeung楊明 on the other hand was asked by a member of
the floor on whether he has visited his partner’s parents. He was surprised
with the question as he thought that the questions would be more focused on the
awards show. Nonetheless, he replied that he hasn’t visited them yet during the
day when the kick-off conference was held.
Joyce Tang滕麗名, Koni Lui呂慧儀, Hong Cheung張穎康 “House Of Spirits” Gathering!
“House Of Spirits” is one of the hit
TVB drama this year and their casts have been known to be very close with each
other. Joyce Tang, Koni Lui and Hong Cheung mentioned that they were
already very satisfied that their efforts have been recognized by the
audiences. Koni Lui hopes that the
votes by the audience can be directed to Joyce
Tang. Hong Cheung hopes that the
Malaysian audiences can support him so that he can come over to Malaysia more
often.
Audience can vote
online starting from 13th
October 2016 to 19th
November 2016. Those who vote would get a chance to win 2 tickets to the
awards ceremony and also other amazing prices.
