Kuala Lumpur, September 2014- A very great anime event, ANIMANGAKI 2014 was held last month on 9th & 10^th August 2014 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.

A Great Gathering For Anime and Manga Fans! Cosplayers Everywhere!

As we know, Animangaki is derived from the combination of “Anime”, “Manga” and “Gaki” (Gaki means brat in Japanese). The whole event is full of fans from both categories and it has also assembled many cosplayers. You can easily spot some of your favourite anime/manga characters walking around the hall during both days.

ANIMANGAKI is even Bigger this year compared to the past!
I have attended ANIMANGAKI last year too and I noticed that the interesting activities which happened this year were even greater than last year. This year, they have featured prominent figures such as Animenz, stayxxxx and etc. It would be a dream come true for fans of these celebrities!

Plenty Of Activities Happening Both Days!

Just like last year, there were many interesting activities going on throughout both days of the event such as Band & Singing Performances, ANIMANGAKI Idol, Cosplay Competition & etc. There were also some on-stage games sessions which provided golden opportunities for the visitors to win some anime manga collectibles back home.

Besides, there were also some cosplay workshops as well as games competition happening simultaneously. You would wish that you could split yourself with Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow clone technique) to experience all of these amazing things all at once!

A Great Display Of Figurines!

Another attraction during ANIMANGAKI 2014 was the figurines display. It was by far one of the longest display I have ever seen in any anime manga events in Malaysia. Many people queued up along the line to have a glimpse at the well-crafted figurines!

A Paradise For Fans To Get Anime/Manga related souvenirs!

ANIMANGAKI 2014 was also a great platform for visitors to shop for anime and manga merchandises. Ranging from handmade ones to original collectibles, the visitors could have a chance to buy posters, t-shirts and even augmented reality cards which featured your favourite characters. All of those items were sold at reasonable price at the booths in ANIMANGAKI 2014.

Enjoyable Event in A Cosplayer World!

Not often can we see so many cosplayers gathered at one place. During the event, the cosplayers interacted with each other very well and it was really a pleasant sight to see how they were having fun there! It’s really great to see how cosplaying culture has become more and more popular in Malaysia! I am very excited too as I was able to capture photos of quite a number of cosplayers too!
