Classical music luminaries that have performed with him includes Neeme Järvi, Nikolai Alexeev, Evan Rogister, Claudio Cruz and Darrell Ang.

The MPO premiered his award-winning composition Sahibul Hikayat Fantasy Overture at DFP. His orchestral piece, Keraian, was premiered by the New York Philharmonic and his choral piece, Tragedi Dewi Suria, was premiered by the New York Virtuoso Singers. The MPO will also perform a Malaysian work entitled Mercu Kegemilangan composed by Vivian Chua, fusing Malaysian themes with the Western classical form and harmony. Similarly, another work listed in the repertoire, Toru Takemitsu’s Requiem for String Orchestra, synthesizes both Western and oriental esthetics and techniques.
