[Movie Review] Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

[Movie Review] Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes
Introduction
(Full written review can be read here: http://loong-updates.blogspot.com/2014/07/dawn-of-planet-of-apes-movie-review.html)

Nearly a decade has passed since the incident in “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes”. Caesar is currently the leader of a growing nation of genetically evolved apes. They are currently threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a few years ago. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

The Good:

  • "Dawn of The Planet Of The Apes " is even better and bigger than the first movie.
  • Caesar is back alongside some other memorable characters such as Koba, Maurice and etc.
  • Great plot and well-balanced pacing of the story.
  • Storytelling brilliantly highlights the emotions on both side of the species and made the audiences care about the characters.
  • Great character development.
  • Fascinating performance by the motion actors.
  • Convincing acting by actors such as Gary Oldman and Jason Clarke.
  • Enhanced CGI animation effects whereby the facial feature of the ape is precisely captured.
  • Epic background soundtrack.

The Bad
  • An ending that baits you. It might be hinting for a sequel. (which is actually a good thing too)
  • No Post-credits scene. (This is not their fault too. Just myself expecting too much)

What can you expect from the movie?
You can expect to see surprises and great story as seen in the first movie but it is even better for this sequel.

Verdict:
This movie deserves a 9.0/10.0!

It is the dawn of epicness! A superb movie which everyone would love!
