The lives of three people are changed forever as revelations and confrontations of one sunny afternoon send them down to surprising new paths. With shocking secrets to reveal, sharp truths to confront, and hearts bursting with all the complexities of humanity, experience the intensity that is true Edward Albee. Artistic Director Christopher Ling opens theatrethreesixty’s inaugural season with a provocative classic, The Zoo Story, paired with a brand new first act Homelife of fifty years in the making.

directed by Christopher Ling | 10th-13th April

Confronted with situations much larger than themselves, two individuals find uniquely different ways of carrying on despite the sudden upheavals in their lives. And now that the dust has settled, they are faced with the task of dealing with the choices that they made. theatrethreesixty’s Artistic Director Christopher Ling directs the Malaysian premiere of two monologues by Singaporean playwright Desmond Sim and Nandang Abdul Rahman in an exploration of coping, keeping calm and carrying on.

Pack/Unpack
by Nicole Ann Thomas and Ostella Adam | 17th-20th April

The funeral is over and the ashes of her mother have been picked up from the crematorium, and now Anna must decide what happens next. With no family left, she embarks on a journey to a destination unknown, with the ashes in tow, to find out the shape of things to come. Nicole Ann Thomas and Ostella Adam takes us on a physical exploration of an age old story, playing on the themes of waiting and moving on, in the six chapters of Anna’s awakening. Will she get on the plane? Or will she remain where she is, forever stuck? And what do those operators actually do when they put you on hold?
