A Minion-tastic Adventure: Our Family's Experience at “A Minions Perspective” Exhibition

Genting Highland, 2024 – Recently, my family and I ventured up to Resorts World Genting's Pavilion Hall for a special treat - the "A Minions Perspective" exhibition featuring our favorite yellow henchmen from the Despicable Me movie franchise. As soon as we stepped inside, the delighted gasp from my 4-year-old daughter said it all.

The exhibition hall was decked out in Minion galore with massive character cutouts, memorabilia displays, interactive games, a cinema, and life-sized play areas brought the amazing world of Gru, his daughters, and army of Minions to life.

This 1,800-square-metre exhibition is divided into eight thematic zones, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the most iconic film scenes. Fans can test their skills in a variety of interactive games, pose for photos with taheir favourite characters, and learn to dance like Balthazar Bratt.

It was fascinating to see early concept art and evolution of the popular sidekicks over the decade. There was also a short film unveiling clips from previous Despicable Me movies.

No Minion event would be complete without photo ops! There were many amazing photo spots throughout the exhibition for me and my family members. After hours of amusement, we exited the exhibition filled with joy and happiness.
