9 Wave Music Festival: An Unforgettable Night of K-pop Magic

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - On 11th November 2023, the "9Wave Music Festival" a K-pop extravaganza organised by Nine XTraw and co-organized by Skyline Entertainment, captivated fans with a night of memorable performances at Sunway Lagoon's Surf Beach. The concert was attended by approximately 18,000 people!

Fans are enthralled by the star-studded lineup.

The festival featured a dazzling array of K-pop stars, including (G)I-DLE, Henry Lau, the versatile musician, Shaun, SNSD's dance powerhouse Hyoyeon, EXO's melodious Xiumin, and iKON's rap maestro Bobby. A high-energy evening was promised and delivered to a delighted audience by this lineup.

Bobby from iKON Lights Up the Stage

Bobby's electrifying rap performance kicked off the event, setting a high standard for the evening. His interactive session, during which he taught Korean phrases and sprinkled water on fans, created an intimate and engaging environment.

Shaun Adds Melodic Appeal

Shaun took the stage after a prayer break. He performed his hit "Way Back Home" among other songs, charming fans with his efforts to communicate in Malay and expressing his joy at being back in Malaysia.

Hyoyeon Energizes the Crowd

Hyoyeon, better known as Hyo from Girls' Generation, maintained the momentum with five dynamic performances. She created an inclusive and interactive experience by catering to fans' requests and engaging with the audience, culminating with a memorable group photo.

Henry Lau: A Musical Genius Exhibit

The performance of Henry Lau was a festival highlight. He demonstrated his multi-instrumental abilities by playing the violin, piano, and guitar. His inventive use of trash and metal drums for a Malaysian rendition of "Believer" was especially noteworthy. His multilingual interactions with fans demonstrated his global appeal.

Xiumin Dazzles with Solo Performance

Xiumin expressed his admiration for the Malaysian EXO-Ls while performing solo in Malaysia for the first time in five years. Despite the physical exertion of his act, his performance of "Don't Go" was both playful and heartfelt, connecting deeply with the audience.

(G)I-DLE Ends the Night with a Bang

The final act, (G)I-DLE which consists of members Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi and Shuhua was a big hit with the audience. Their rendition of "QUEENCARD" enthralled the audience. The members' Malay and Mandarin greetings, particularly Yuqi's interaction, highlighted their connection with the audience. Their appreciation for their fans' enthusiasm was a fitting conclusion to a fantastic night.

A Victory for Both Organisers and Fans

The 9Wave Music Festival was more than a concert; it was a celebration of the diversity and unifying power of K-pop. The event's success can be attributed to the meticulous planning of Nine XTraw and Skyline Entertainment, as well as the passion of Malaysia's K-pop community.

由Nine XTraw主办，Skyline Entertainment 协办的备受大马韩粉期待的韩流音乐节 <9 Wave Music Festival>（又称9浪音乐节），上周六晚在双威乐园人造沙滩引爆，吸引1万8000人前往朝圣！

韩国女团(G)I-DLE、HENRY 刘宪华、EXO成员秀珉（XIUMIN）、少女时代的孝渊（HYOYEON）、iKON成员Bobby和SHAUN轮番S上阵接力演出。压轴登场的(G)I-DLE以《QUEENCARD》开场，全场热情高涨。而HENRY 刘宪华当晚的表演也格外精彩，除了演奏小提琴、吉他和钢琴，还将“大马版”的垃圾桶和大铁桶带上舞台，独自呈现了一场精彩的音乐表演，堪称音乐才子！

音乐节准时于晚上6点开始，由iKON人气成员Bobby开场，他的说唱才华瞬间点燃了全场的热情，观众们跟着音乐的节奏跳舞，而调皮的Bobby偶尔还向观众洒矿泉水，现场气氛更加热烈！

Shaun演唱《Way Back Home》时，掀起了全场的大合唱，他甚至跪在舞台上表演，除了简单的马来单词外，他也展现了诚意，用马来文说：“Saya gembira dapat kembali ke Malaysia，aku cinta padamu”。Shaun还在舞台上脱下外套，展示了他健壮的手臂！

少女时代的舞蹈女神孝渊（HyoYeon）接下来登场，带来了一系列令人振奋的舞蹈表演，她性感的舞姿引发了观众们的尖叫声，完美诠释了她在团队中的舞蹈担当角色！

接下来是当晚最忙碌的歌手 - HENRY 刘宪华！多才多艺的Henry不仅演奏小提琴、钢琴、吉他等乐器，还将大马版的垃圾桶和大铁桶带上舞台，用来打击演奏《Believer》。除此之外，Henry还展示了他的语言才能，包括韩语、英语、马来语、华语和广东话，同时不断切换乐器，与粉丝互动，最终也让他在后台累得喘不过气来。

EXO成员秀珉（XIUMIN）首次以SOLO身份来马，一上场就带来了他的最新单曲《Brand New》，当得知已经5年没有来马来西亚时，他露出惊讶的表情说：“哇，已经5年啦！”台上汗流浃背的XIUMIN表示：“不知道是因为你们太热情，还是天气太热，真的好热。”可爱的XIUMIN频频比心手势，希望能让台下的EXO-L们度过美好的一晚！

最后压轴登场的(G)I-DLE以近期热门歌曲《QUEENCARD》登场，瞬间点燃了现场气氛！随后她们带来的歌曲也不断引发观众尖叫声，面对粉丝们的热情，她们也表示感受到了炽热的氛围！

整场音乐节历时4小时半，在最后的烟花秀中画上句点，让前来参加的粉丝们都留下了难以忘怀的一夜！
