KUALA LUMPUR (December 12, 2013) – One
of Malaysia’s leading property developers in northern Malaysia, Eupe
Corporation Berhad has announced that it was staging one of the biggest and
most anticipated entertainment events ever in that region.
The Planet Eupe Music Fest on March 1, 2014 will showcase some of the
biggest and best music acts from around Asia as well as Malaysia. The event was
announced a few days ago at a press conference held at Hilton Kuala Lumpur
Hotel.
The event is
set to take place at Eupe’s Carnivall
Water Park, located within the Cinta
Sayang Resort in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Mandopop star Wang Lee Hom, who is one of Asia’s most recognised and
popular artistes will headline The Planet Eupe Music Fest.
Support acts
for the night include Malaysian
singer-songwriter Yuna, popular South Korean K-Pop boy band, U-KISS and
Taiwanese electro-pop sensation, Jeannie Hsieh. Other local acts in the
line-up include Orange Tan, Najwa
Latif, Da.Mon.Ster, Kah Jun and
Mint G.
The Planet
Eupe Music Fest will also feature the final to choose Malaysia’s entrant for
the 2014 Hip Hop International Dance
Championship which will be held in Las Vegas, USA. The WonderLand+ is the event management for the Planet Eupe Music
Fest.
According to
Eupe Corporation Berhad Managing Director, Dato’
Beh Huck Lee, the event has the potential to change the music and cultural
landscape of the northern region. The company is very keen on making the Planet Eupe Music Fest an annual
event and views it as an integral part of the company’s ongoing commitment to
support and invest in the local communities in which it operates.

exciting new chapter in the company’s history – which is Eupe’s entry into the
Kuala Lumpur property market next year – with this event but also showcase northern
Malaysia to the world,” said Beh’.

Eupe Music Fest isn’t just a platform for local upcoming artists – it will
bring some of the biggest international names in Asia to Malaysia and show that
even local townships such as Sungai Petani can successfully host a major music
event for the nation.”
A total of
20,000 tickets for the Planet Eupe Music Fest will go on sale from December 18,
2013 and there will be four price bands – RM90
(free standing), RM190 (free standing), RM290 (numbered seat) and RM390
(numbered seat). From 18th to 31st December 2013 public can enjoy 15%
discount on all ticket prices!
