To add even more variety, each episode will feature rotating guest judges, including the dynamic 符琼音 (Meeia Foo), 2023 CGM champion 曾国琿 (Tedd Chan), 2015 champion 吴玮琳 (Winnie Goh), veteran music producer 郑国亮 , renowned music educator 黄凡朔 (Jinv Wong), Malaysia’s leading jazz vocalist 何芸妮 (Winnie Ho), and versatile host-producer 林忠彪. During the official press conference on 30 June 2025, both team captains spoke candidly about their experiences filming the show. Crystal shared how emotionally invested she became, often moved to tears by the contestants’ stories and perseverance. “As team leaders, we’re supposed to stay rational. But both Weiwei and I are quite emotional, and when we see our team members facing challenges, it’s hard not to feel deeply connected.” Xiao Weiwei, who is taking on the role of team captain for the first time, admitted that the role is much tougher than it appeared. “Last year I thought Crystal made it look easy, but now that I’m doing it myself, I realise how hard it is, especially since I also have to host, which is not my strength!”
