Anime Fest+ 2025 at IOI Mall Damansara: A Star-Packed Celebration of ACG Culture!

Petaling Jaya, 2025 - Organized by Comic Fiesta, Anime Fest+ 2025, held on 19th and 20th April 2025 at IOI Mall Damansara (formerly Tropicana Gardens Mall), once again drew thousands of anime, manga, and gaming enthusiasts into a multilevel celebration that blended pop culture, community spirit, and unforgettable performances.

A Main Stage Brimming with Star Power

The heart of Anime Fest+ 2025 pulsed with energy thanks to an impressive lineup of guest performers who lit up the Main Stage. Celebrated anisong singer TRUE, beloved for her emotionally charged tracks including “Sincerely” from Violet Evergarden, delivered a heartfelt performance that resonated deeply with fans. Also captivating the crowd was halca, known for her cheerful pop style and songs featured in popular anime such as Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.

Malaysia’s own KLP48, now a rising staple in the local idol scene and part of the international AKB48 sister group family, returned to the Anime Fest+ stage with their signature vibrant energy. Their performance was met with enthusiastic cheers, highlighting their growing fanbase and polished stage presence.

Other guest performers such as Akie Ki, Rina. Tan, Ryukku-K. brought their unique flair to the stage, ensuring there was never a dull moment throughout the two-day celebration.

Virtual Superstars Shine Bright

VTuber fans were thrilled by the virtual appearances of top talents from the hololive and HOLOSTARS families. Vestia Zeta from hololive Indonesia Gen 3, Shiori Novella from hololive English -Advent-, and Machina X Flayon and Josuiji Shinri from HOLOSTARS English -TEMPUS- made appearances, engaging audiences with virtual segments.

Cosplay Community in the Spotlight

Cosplayers turned heads across every level of the mall, with attendees dressed as characters from the latest anime hits, nostalgic classics, and popular games. Anime Fest+ 2025 embraced this passion with dedicated cosplay competitions that put creativity, performance, and character accuracy to the test.

The OTP (One-True-Pair) Cosplay Competition featured impressive duo presentations and was judged by esteemed names in the cosplay world—Rikka, Shine, and Charess. Meanwhile, the Pose-Off Competition brought fierce character poses and high energy to the stage, with Charess, Tea Kyandy, and Shine serving as the judging panel. 

Art, Merch, and More

For collectors and fans of artist merch, the Art + Cosplay Market on Level CC and the Exhibition Hall on Level 3A were the ultimate hotspots. A vibrant mix of independent artists, local creators, and merchandise vendors offered everything from prints and badges to plushies and limited-edition collectibles.

Coffytiam (A14) also became a popular spot for visitors who aimed for exclusive merchandise tied to featured guests and artists. 

Immersive Activities for All

Beyond performances and merchandise, Anime Fest+ 2025 made sure to keep fans engaged with interactive activities spread throughout the venue. The Stamp Rally encouraged exploration by rewarding attendees for visiting different zones.

Anime Fest+ 2025 appealed to casual attendees and hardcore fans alike. From internationally acclaimed performers to local rising stars, from dedicated cosplayers to first-time con-goers, the event brought together diverse communities under one roof to celebrate a shared love for anime and pop culture.

由Comic Fiesta主办的Anime Fest+ 2025于2025年4月19日至20日在IOI Mall Damansara（前称Tropicana Gardens Mall）隆重举办，吸引了成千上万的动漫、漫画、游戏和Cosplay爱好者。为期两天的盛会覆盖商场多个楼层，打造出一个充满互动与魅力的ACG文化聚点。

主舞台星光熠熠，演出阵容强大

日本知名动漫歌手TRUE带来多首感人肺腑的歌曲，其中包括她为《紫罗兰永恒花园》演唱的经典曲目《Sincerely》。她的动情演唱深深打动现场观众。

同样带来亮眼演出的还有halca，这位以《辉夜大小姐想让我告白》等作品中的ED曲广受喜爱的歌姬，以轻快甜美的风格俘获了观众的心。

而在马来西亚偶像圈逐渐站稳脚步的KLP48也再次登上Anime Fest+舞台，她们以精湛的编舞与饱满的热情赢得阵阵掌声，展现出日益成熟的舞台魅力。
