Kuala Lumpur, 2024 – The latest film by renowned local director Tai 戴敏非, the most terrifying comedy "Ghost Ahead," has finally hit the big screen 10 years after its completion! This incredible ghost film is finally meeting its audience.

Despite being a 10-year-old work, director Tai and producer Nevin persevered through difficulties and finally held a grand premiere on May 14, 2024, at GSC LALAPORT in Kuala Lumpur, inviting 80 Chinese and Malay influencers and traditional media for a promotional fan event. The event was attended by the director, producer, co-producer and main casts like 曾新福、罗月娇、李国强、许振睿、刘明昇、林靖敏、陀财仲and黄锦华. There was a red carpet ceremony and they also played games with the audiences.

450 people attended the premiere, watching "Ghost Ahead" in three theaters. One of the premiere's highlights was the creatively designed talisman tickets, with many influencers and guests taking photos, some even sticking them on their foreheads to imitate zombies, causing bursts of laughter.

Influencers and guests frequently laughed during the viewing. This type of locally humorous comedy ghost film is prevalent in the local Malay film circle but rare in the local Chinese film circle. After the screening, the director, producer, and actors were invited on stage again to meet with guests and be interviewed by local media.

"Ghost Ahead" tells two independent supernatural stories. This film is also the final work of the famous local Indian actor Ramassuntran Rengan. This is director Tai’s first attempt at combining comedy and ghost films, blending humor and horror in a way that even those afraid of ghost films can laugh out loud.

"Ghost Ahead" held its premiere in Kuala Lumpur on May 14 and will have a nationwide release on May 23. Everyone should support local films to make Malaysia's Chinese film industry shine!

《鬼叫你看》讲述了两个独立的灵异故事，主要演员包括著名相声演员苏维胜、知名网红林BIG咏、幸福村长曾新福、资深媒体人罗月娇、林靖敏、许振睿和李国强等。这部电影也是本地著名印裔演员RAMASSUNTRAN RENGAN的遗作。

这是导演戴敏非首次尝试搞笑与鬼片的结合，将诙谐幽默与惊悚恐怖巧妙融合，让即使不敢看鬼片的观众也能大笑不止。
