Thai hunks Wow and Dee make their Malaysian debut, joking that their dance routines can't be too spectacular.

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 – Tastefully Food Expo, organised by Tastefully Malaysia and supported by Jinro, took place from 9th June 2023 – 11th June 2023 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The organisers requested Wow (Sarawut Siriphet) and Dee (Veerasak Mahsahaao), the popular "hunk" managers of the seafood restaurant "Staneemeehoi" in Bangkok, Thailand, to join and support the event in Malaysia to make it more interesting.

Wow and Dee attended the opening ceremony on the morning of the 10th June 2023, which was followed by Thai cuisine cooking demos and a fan meet-up, which drew a large crowd. The couple, dressed in tight white T-shirts, instantly established the tone, even performing a brief dance highlighting their powerful physique. They talked with several lucky participants and gladly took photographs with fans during the event, in addition to displaying their cooking skills on stage by creating tom yum soup.

Wow and Dee communicated in Mandarin, English, and Malay with little need for translation. Dee, in particular, demonstrated his language talents and took leadership of the talks, while his companion Wow talked less, allowing Dee to criticise him in Mandarin, stating, "He has no brains." He can't converse, despite his stunning appearance. "I have brains, I can talk, and I look good," they said, entertaining the audience.

Although Wow and Dee are well-known in Malaysia, they insist, "We hope that everyone does not regard us as celebrities." We're just regular people selling meals. The most essential thing is to make everyone happy." They were known for their fun dance performances in their Thai restaurant, but due to cultural differences in Malaysia, they had to be more restricted in their dance techniques on stage. They recited "little bit not too much" while dancing. "If we dance too much," Dee quipped, "we might not be able to come back next time."

The Thai hunk quintet was invited to make their debut in Malaysia during the fasting month of Ramadan in March of this year, but their presentation was cancelled due to controversy. Dee admits to being saddened at the time, but stated his joy at finally being in Malaysia and receiving a warm welcome from Malaysian fans. He also expressed interest in bringing the full hunk group to Malaysia, adding, "As long as you invite us, we can fly here anytime." Wow added with a smile that the flight from Thailand to Malaysia is only two hours long, making it incredibly handy.

泰国猛男Wow和Dee首次在马来西亚亮相，受邀参加由Tastefully Malaysia主办、Jinro担任白金赞助商的美食展《Tastefully Food Expo》，展览于6月9日至11日在双威金字塔会展中心（Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre）举行。为了庆祝这一盛事，主办方特邀泰国曼谷人气海鲜餐厅"Staneemeehoi"的两位猛男老板Wow（Sarawut Siriphet）和Dee（Veerasak Mahsahaao）来到马来西亚站台助阵。

Wow和Dee在10日上午11时出现在开幕仪式上，随后进行了泰国料理烹饪示范和粉丝见面会，吸引了大批粉丝前来驻足观看。两人身穿紧身白色T恤登场，一出场就带动了气氛，还表演了一小段舞蹈，展示了他们健硕的身材。除了现场展示烹饪东炎汤的技巧，他们还进行了互动交流，选出幸运儿上台与他们互动，并乐意满足粉丝的自拍要求，亲自走到各个角落与大家合影留念。

两位猛男几乎不需要翻译，能够用华语、英语和马来语进行交流。其中，Dee展现了他的语言天赋，全程负责发言，而他的搭档Wow则很少说话，让Dee趁机用华语开玩笑地评论他：“他虽然长得帅，但没什么脑子，不会说话；我聪明又会说话，长得也帅”，逗乐了全场。

尽管两人在马来西亚很受欢迎，但Wow和Dee强调：“希望大家不要把我们当成名人，其实我们只是普通的食物销售员，最重要的是给大家带来快乐。”两人在泰国餐厅以扭动身体的舞蹈表演而闻名，但由于马来西亚的限制，他们在台上跳舞时动作幅度不能太夸张。他们保持了自制力，在跳舞的过程中小声念叨着：“一点点，不要太多。”Dee也开玩笑说：“如果我们跳得太多，可能下次就不能再来了。”

在今年3月的斋戒月期间，泰国的猛男团曾受邀来马来西亚进行首次表演，但由于引发了巨大的争议，最终被取消了。Dee坦言当时心情非常难过，但他表示：“这次我们终于来到马来西亚，感到非常开心，受到了很多马来西亚粉丝的热烈欢迎，我们感到非常兴奋。”他也期待下一次能够与猛男团的所有成员一起来马来西亚，笑称：“只要你们邀请，我们随时可以飞过来。”Wow则笑着指出，从泰国飞往马来西亚只需要2个小时，因此非常方便。
