[Coverage] My FM The Show 2015 (MY FM The Show天作之盒)
Kuala Lumpur, September 2015 – One of the biggest
event of the year MY FM The Show has taken place LIVE at The Arena Of Stars, Genting
Highlands a few days ago. Our team from wljack.com and loong-updates.blogspot.com have
been given the golden opportunity to once again take part in this annual event.
This year, it was bigger, better and even greater as it was held consecutively
for 2 days.
Stellar performer line-ups!
As
always MY FM annual concert always
consists of great lineups of artistes (check out my coverage on last year MY FM Concert: http://www.wljack.com/2014/09/coverage-my-fm-16th-birthday-bash.html
), this year is no exception.
Proudly
presented by P1, MY FM The Show has invited the local and

Mysteries
Unfolded During The Concert! Guests
Performers all invited out through storyline!
MY FM The Show’s production costs at 1.5 million Ringgit showcases 5 different scenes that have
been presented on the stage with the storyline full of mystery and suspension.
The story mainly revolves around Detective
Lim (played by Jack Lim), Detective’s Girlfriend (played by Gan Mei Yan) and Detective’s Assistance (played by Jeff Chin). They have bumped into a mysterious girl Tong Tong (played by Tong Tong) who held a mysterious music
box that consists of Detective Lim’s Dad’s
photo.
In
order to know more about the mysterious box, they need to go through a few
challenges to get more clues regarding it. As the story progresses through different
scene settings, the guest performers blended in magnificently well with the setting.
They sang some songs which might be loosely related to the theme of the clue,
then proceeded with the other songs of their own.
Great Scenes Settings!
MY FM The Show has featured quite a
number of great scenes on stage including the Detective House, Music Tag Academy, Music Auction Funfair and Ngam Channel Castle. All of the scenes
were very well set up and it’s really impressive to see how the stage designer
managed to create the scenic setups with great use of props and visual effects
on the backdrop screen. In addition, the show also features some movable screen
which closes during each transition of scene with these movable screen having
LED visuals. The scene setting was spectacular!
While
most of the artistes came out from the left side of the stage with the
elevating platform, one of the most memorable scenes were during the times
whereby the angels flew down from above. Those scenes were hilarious (with the
DJs flapping their arms) yet surprisingly memorable.
Cameo Appearances In A Short Video!
Besides
the LIVE performances, the truth of the mystery was actually revealed in the
form of a short video. In the video, it featured the cameo appearances of 3
local artistes including Haoren, Pink
Tan and Athena Beh alongside Jack Lim who plays the detective’s
father. Apart from them, in my opinion, the one who truly stole the limelight of
the short video was the little girl who played the younger self of Tong Tong, she is cute and her acting
deserves an applause. The short video was a pleasant addition to the show
either way.
Overwhelming performances
Which Has Totally Made Fans Excited!
As mentioned above, the show has featured many great performers
internationally and locally. All of them have put up a great performances which
have totally hyped up the audiences. The show was basically full house during
the day which I have attended. (1st day of the show)
Kudos to all of the performers for the superb singing and dancing
performances!
Anyway, the only letdown during the show was the last clue which was
titled “Eason Chen”. I am sure most
of the fans thought that he would be an Ending
Surprise Performer. However, the thought was finally cleared off as they
showed a video of Eason wishing
Happy Birthday to MY FM. Still a great greeting video though. (But it would be
even greater if he really did appear on stage.)
Finale Of The Show! All
performers came on stage singing together!
During the finale of the show, it was a good ending with positive
message. (No spoiler here for those who haven’t seen it yet). I am pretty
positive that the message of hope,
courage and strength was
delivered through the show.
Finally, all of the performers came back on stage and performed新的心跳 followed by big group
photo!

those of you who have missed the show LIVE, don’t worry, here’s the solution
for you:
MY FM The Show will be broadcasted on Astro Wah Lai Toi (Channel 311) and Astro Wah Lai
Toi HD (Channel 310) on 16th September at 4.30 PM. The replay will
be on 20th September at 11 AM and 10PM.
