The Star-studded Malaysian TV Awards Presentation “TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2014” Is Happening Tonight!

Kuala Lumpur, 23^rd November 2014 - TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2014, The star-studded Malaysia TV Awards Presentation, which has long been regarded as the prelude to TV Awards Presentation of TVB, is going to be held today at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting at 8:00 p.m. Same as last year, the awards presentation will be organised by TVB Entertainment News and co-partner Astro, MY FM and MELODY FM as media partners.

A voting campaign has been opened to all Malaysians allowing audience to cast a vote for their favourite dramas and artistes. During 24 October – 16 November, there are altogether almost 200,000 Malaysian audiences voted which is a double of last year, and the voting website reached a million views.

Award selection will be based on 70% voting result and 30% professional judgement, after 3 weeks voting campaign, all winners from 13 nomination categories have been confirmed. Lai Chi Shan, Bob Lam, Jarvis Chow and Shermaine Wong will be the hosts of the awards presentation. Numerous TVB artistes will be attending the star-studded show, including Linda Chung, Jonathan Wong, Fred Cheng, Jinny Ng, Mag Lam, Joyce Cheng, Ronald Law and Hoffman Cheng will be the guest performers to present marvellous singing. Siu Po, Owen Cheung and Mok Ka Kam will be invited to show their talent of mimicry.

This year, there are altogether 13 nomination categories, including My Favourite TVB Drama Series, My Favourite TVB Actor in a Leading Role, My Favourite TVB Actress in a Leading Role, My Favourite TVB Actor in a Supporting Role, My Favourite TVB Actress in a Supporting Role, My Favourite TVB Most Improved Actor, My Favourite TVB Most Improved Actress, My Favourite TVB On Screen Couple, My Favourite TVB Drama Theme Song, My Favourite Top 15 TVB Drama Characters, My Favourite TVB Variety Program, My Favourite TVB Enrichment Program and My Favourite TVB Host in Variety Program.
