Astro Originals Chinese Drama "The Great Resonance 《名門》" Spends 17 Hours Filming a Lavish Birthday Banquet

The new Chinese drama series "The Great Resonance 《名門》" from Astro Originals has been in production for over a month, recently filming a highly anticipated scene. In the show, veteran actress Michelle Yim hosts a grand birthday banquet for her stepdaughter Joey Leong at a luxurious mansion. This scene required a massive cast and crew, with filming starting at noon and extending until 5 AM the next day, totaling 17 hours of continuous shooting.

As the seventh Chinese original series by Astro Originals, "The Great Resonance 《名門》" boasts a stellar cast from Hong Kong and Malaysia. The series features themes of corporate power struggles, family ethics, and intense personal conflicts, making it a major highlight for Astro this year.

Veteran Hong Kong actors Michelle Yim and Shek Sau reunite on screen, alongside local talents such as Lenna林家冰, Eric赖宏恩, Bernard森骏, Daniel冯玮佺, Joey梁祖仪, 温绍平, 原腾, 吕爱琼, 王爱玲, and William辛伟廉. Shek Sau has completed his scenes and has returned to Hong Kong after wrapping up his role.
