Michael Wong 光良 stirs a wave of nostalgia with his concert "Lonely Planet 2.0"
Kuala Lumpur, 2024 – Michael Wong 光良 returned to his country, Malaysia for a spectacular performance at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil recently on 4th May 2024. The event was organized by Star Planet and marked a significant return for Michael with his world tour, "Lonely Planet 2.0"
This concert was a dream come true for Michael Wong 光良. Back in 2019, during a performance in Kuala Lumpur, he promised his fans that he would revive the "Lonely Planet" series. Although the pandemic had disrupted his plans, Michael finally fulfilled his promise, bringing the 2.0 version of the concert to his own country.
The concert kicked off with an exquisite CGI intro film, followed by Michael opening with 《住在遥远的星球 Living On A Faraway Planet》and continuing with hits like 《掌心 Palm》，《我想去个地方 Going Somewhere》, 《想见你 Feel Like Seeing You》，《朋友 Friend》，《约定 Commitment》，《第一次 First Time》and etc. These well-loved songs wrapped the audience in a nostalgic atmosphere, eliciting loud sing-alongs and applause.
Michael Wong 光良 is not only a talented singer but also adept at engaging the audience and sharing interesting stories. Between songs, he shared insights and background stories. Before singing 《伤心地铁 Heartbreak Subway》,he revealed that the lyrics were written by a man who was dumped by his girlfriend on the subway. Although he didn’t reveal the man’s identity, but the big screen exposedly stated that the song was written by the renowned Taiwanese musician Jonathan Lee, who, Michael jokingly added, "he is very happy now!"
Michael also expressed his appreciation for every performance, acknowledging that each concert brings him closer to the last. When a fan shouted, "Next year!" he humorously replied, "Do you have the budget? There are so many choices now. Choose me!"
Furthermore, he interacted with fans by taking song requests, playfully teasing, "Is 《童话 Fairy Tale》the only good song I have?" He promised to sing it last, joking, "Do you want me to leave so soon?"
Michael cleverly involved the audience from different floors of the venue in choosing songs, leading to additional performances of hits 《是你變了嗎》，《多心》，《天堂》，《浪花一朵朵》，《你好嗎》and《後來》. Considering that LRT closing time is approaching, he then proceeded with his last song and sang the ever-popular 《童话 Fairy Tale》.
Before concluding with 《童话 Fairy Tale》, Michael emotionally stated, "Performing a concert is not easy, but with your support and love, I have the courage to keep going." The nostalgic evening was not only a tribute to Michael Wong 光良's career but also a testament to his deep connection with his Malaysian fans. Together, they sang the final lines, "You have to believe, believe we will have a happy ending like in a fairy tale... writing our ending together. (你要相信，相信我们会像童话故事里，幸福和快乐是结局.....一起写我们的结局)"
光良《今晚我不孤独2.0》掀起怀旧狂潮
2024年5月4日,由Star Planet主办，马来西亚著名歌手光良带着《今晚我不孤独2.0》世界巡回演唱会重返家乡吉隆坡,在武吉加里尔Axiata体育馆举办了一场盛大的演出。
这场演唱会对光良来说也是圆梦之夜。早在2019年,他就在吉隆坡的一场演出中向歌迷们承诺,将再次重启"今晚我不孤独"系列。虽然疫情曾一度打乱了计划,但如今光良终于信守承诺,带着2.0版的演唱会重返家乡。
演唱会一开场,随着精美的CGI介绍短片后，光良便以《住在遥远的星球》拉开序幕,随后接连演绎了《掌心》，《我想去个地方》。他也路续地唱了许多经典歌曲如《想见你》，《朋友》，《约定》，《第一次》。这些大家都熟悉的歌曲，让歌迷们被怀旧的气氛笼罩，并大声跟唱,掌声不断。
光良除了唱歌好听，其实也是蛮会带动气氛和与观众们分享有趣的故事。在演唱了几首歌后，他都会分享一下一些感言和背景故事。在演唱《伤心地铁》这首歌之前， 他分享了该首歌的歌词是由一位男生因为在地铁上被女友提分手而写的。虽然他没指名道姓，可是荧幕上已写了大大作词人名字，就是台湾乐坛有名的歌手李宗盛。可是他也补充“他现在很幸福啦！”
光良也说到他现在很珍惜每一场的演出。他也有感而发，因为每表演了一场就等于少了一场。他也不知道下一场是几时。有歌迷喊道，“明年”！他直接问，“你们有Budget吗？现在很多选择。” “你们要选我哦！”
除此之外，他也为歌迷们准备了点个环节。有人也喊道要点《童话》，光良更玩起了梗，“光良只有《童话》一首歌好听吗？”。“别急，我一定会场《童话》，唱完了就要收工了。你们要我那么快走吗？“
他便随后从低楼到三楼的观众们里，让每楼的观众选一首歌。巧妙地，其中一位被选中戴帽子女生歌迷是可晴（大马DJ）。也有一名被选中的观众点歌后，还隔空合唱了。这环节总共增加了多首光良的著名去如《是你變了嗎》，《多心》，《天堂》，《浪花一朵朵》，《你好嗎》，《後來》。顾虑到火车可能就快要关闭了，所以他需要继续唱最后一首歌，就是大家都百听不厌的《童话》。
在压轴曲目《童话》结束之前,光良感慨地说:"现在会觉得唱一场演唱会真的不容易,但只要大家支持有爱,我就有勇气继续走下去。"这场怀旧之夜不仅是对光良职业生涯的最佳致敬,更是他与马来西亚歌迷之间深厚情谊的见证。而大家也在这个《今晚我不孤独2.0》的夜晚里一起圆满的合唱了“你要相信，相信我们会像童话故事里，幸福和快乐是结局.....一起写我们的结局”
