[Local Entertainment] "A New Journey《启航》" Season 10 8TV: Starting from 25th February 2024, every Sunday at 9 PM
Kuala Lumpur, 2024 – This year, the magazine-style program "A New Journey《启航》" on 8TV enters its tenth season, continuing its commitment to delve into the grassroots, capturing and inheriting the voices of the people, and leading the audience to a deeper understanding of the Chinese culture in Nanyang and the historical traces left by the Chinese in Nanyang.
The new season of "A New Journey《启航》" hosted by Desmond郑瑞钥 will start on 25th February 2023 airing every Sunday at 9 PM on 8TV. This season will focus on folk culture, customs, traditional festivals, and celebratory rituals, further exploring the unique cultural essence of the Malaysian Chinese.
Season 10 of "A New Journey 《启航》" consists of 8 episodes, with two special episodes produced earlier to celebrate the Lunar New Year, featuring "《峇峇娘惹的迎神庆典》The Baba-Nyonya God Sending Ceremony" and "《巴生的福建天公敬拜》The Klang Hokkien People's Heaven God Worship." The upcoming themes include "《柔佛东甲的火神祈求仪式》The Johor Tangkak Fire Requesting Ceremony," "《九皇爷出巡仪式》The Nine Emperor Gods Sending Off Ceremony," "《水尾圣娘庆典》The Shui Wei Saint Mother Birthday Celebration," "《客家人的春节祭祀》The Hakka Spring Sacrifice Ceremony," "《五祖拳艺》The Five Ancestors Fist," and "《陶瓷烧制祭祀仪式》 Sacrifice Ceremony."
