[Coverage] Rumor Has It : Adele Her Life and Songs In KLPAC

Kuala Lumpur, September 2016 – It happened a few days ago in KLPAC whereby Adele fans were all out to set fire to the rain as the international award winning musical celebration Rumor Has It Adele – Her Life and Songs took the audiences onto an inspirational journey of Adele Adkins rise to stardom from 21st September 2016 – 25th September 2016 at KLPAC. Our team from WLJack.com has been given a golden opportunity to do a coverage on the event.

Not A Tribute Show or Impersonator Act! It’s a Musical Celebration Inspired by Adele!
Rumor Has It Adele Her Life and Songs brought us through a journey of young ordinary Adele Adkins rising to stardom with her self-taught talent and following footsteps of her idol “Spice Girls”. Featuring Naomi Price from The Voice as the leading lady for the performance, the show was turned into a magical night of great music as well as great storytelling leaving a memorable experience to the audiences.

Mesmerizing Vocal From Naomi Price and professional backup vocalist!
Having carved a name for herself in Australia for her appearance in the fourth season of The Voice, Naomi Price continued to shine in her role as Adele in Rumor Has It Adele Her Life and Songs. Her vocal is really strong as she was able to belt out top hits from Adele including Skyfall, Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You, Set Fire To The Rain, Hello and many more without breaking a sweat. The final effect was a spectacular tympanic treat from her wonderful voice!

Besides, the singing was also supported by professional backup vocalist handpicked by a panel of judges consisting of Price herself, Malaysian and West End London Singing Sensation Sean Ghazi and experienced music director Ching Eng Shen.

Great Humor and Relevant Jokes! Thoughtful Interactions!
Apart from having a great musical experience, the show is also filled with many funny moments. Naomi Price is really a very lovable performer as she was able to deliver her story telling in a humorous yet relevant way. Citing “Malaysia Truly Asia” multiple times during her show, she has also included quite a number of Malaysia related jokes during the show. All of the audiences were laughing out loud as she made a few notable jest on stage.

Her impromptu skill was also very remarkable. During the session in which our team has attended, there was a scene whereby the spotlight went malfunctioned. Naomi responded brilliantly by asking the audiences to lift out their handphones for the lightings. I doubt it was choreographed. But it was a really wise move from Naomi.

There was another scene whereby there was some latecomer audiences who just entered into the venue near the end of the show when Naomi was about to sing “Someone Like You”. Instead of getting upset, Naomi actually commented that the couple came at a right timing for a song which most audiences came here for.

Of course, Naomi has also brought Adele’s witty and expressive storytelling of her life on the stage too. In addition, Naomi also impersonated Celine Dion and Spice Girls the way how Adele would have impersonated. Some of their songs were also featured on stage.

Rumor Has It: Adele Her Life and Songs was indeed a very entertaining journey through Adele’s Life filled with top-notch musical experience of Adele’s hits.

Here’s the list of songs performed during the night:

Rumor Has It
