Genting Highlands, March 2023 – Young Captain is a Mandopop singer from China. He began writing songs in 2010, and his first original single, "Everywhere is You," was released in July of that year. His next hit, "Where Are You," soared to No. 1 on Taiwan's hot song list and remained there for a year. This song had also surpassed 2 billion listens on the music streaming platform. He is not only a singer, but also a music producer and video director. He directed the music videos for GEM's "How Beautiful," "I Miss You So Much," and "FlyAway," as well as Wilber Pan's "ALL THE WAYUP" song, among other things.

 

He is also known as the "EMO Love Song Prince" on the Internet. In 2021, he released his first solo album Captain's Music World, and he also wrote and directed a short film of the same name. The album reached No. 21 on the Apple Music China Hot Albums chart. Popular tracks from his album include "Night Walk," "To You," and others. In December 2021, he launched his first solo tour, "Where Are You," and all of the shows were sold out, launching a whirlwind tour for Young Captain.

YOUNG CAPTAIN本名杨浪，出生于中国贵州贵阳市。他于2017年开始创作音乐，并在同年7月发布了他的首支原创单曲《哪里都是你》。这首歌一经发布便迅速在网络上走红，成为众多网红翻唱的对象。《哪里都是你》不仅飙升至各大音乐平台的热歌榜首位，还在音乐流媒体平台上累计超过20亿的收听量，持续了一年之久。

 

队长不仅是歌手，还是音乐制作人和MV导演。他曾执导邓紫棋的歌曲《多美丽》、《好想好想你》、《Fly Away》以及潘玮柏的歌曲《ALL THE WAY UP》等MV。其中，他在2019年执导的ICE的《FALL IN LOVE》MV更被评为中国嘻哈排行榜最佳MV。
