[Entertainment] 2020 AIM 中文音乐颁奖典礼 Announcement of Nominees

Kuala Lumpur, November 2019 - 《2020 AIM 中文音乐颁奖典礼》has received a good response and active participation from local music talents and singers. The award show this time has garnered over 1,000 entries. The judging process is fair as it involved 54 popular musicians, producers, talents as the panelists and the vote counts were assisted and supervised by MAZARS.

As per mentioned in our previous post (https://www.wljack.com/2019/09/entertainment-news-2020-aim-new-record.html), the competition this time around is going to be tight.

In the most recent press conference held, the organizing committees have invited the biggest winners from the previous awards show, Nicholas Teo 张栋梁 and Geraldine Gan 颜慧萍 to announce the latest nomination lists!

Priscilla Abby 蔡恩雨 has made it into the nominations for total of 8 categories including ：「最佳新人」，「最佳作曲」，「最佳编曲」，「最佳歌曲制作」，「最佳专辑」,「最佳女歌手」,「最佳歌曲制作」and 「最佳编曲」 while Shio 郭修彧 has been nominated for 7 categories: ：「最佳新人」，「最佳女歌手」，「最佳作曲」，「最佳作词」，「最佳电视/电影主题曲」，「最佳专辑」and「最佳金曲」. On the other hand, Nicholas Teo 张栋梁 was nominated in 6 categories while Namewee 黄明志 was nominated in 5 categories.

In addition to that, there will be a new awards category 「最高串流量单曲」 (The most streamed singles) based on the data collected from 5 platforms: Apple Music, Deezer, iTunes, KKBOX and Spotify. The winner for this category will be announced on the night of the awards show.

Besides, 2020 AIM has collaborated with TikTok to initiate a campaign that encourages everyone to cover the local Mandopop songs. This campaign aims to promote local music as well as providing an opportunity for the youth to perform on stage. The best cover singer in TikTok will be invited for a performance during the award show.
