just happened a few hours ago. This film awards is one of the most prestigious
awards in the Chinese Film Industry.

awards ceremony was themed as “时代光影 and was hosted by 毛舜筠、林家栋
& 郑中基. (The complete winners list can be found at the bottom of this article)

The Grandmasters, The Grand Winner Of The Night!
The grand winner this year for 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards Presentation is "The Grandmaster"
as it has won over 12 awards namely Best Scriptwriter 最佳编剧,Best
Arts Directions 最佳美术指导, Best Costume Design 最佳服裝造型設計,Best
Videography 最佳攝影, Best Film Editing 最佳剪接,
Best Supporting Actor 最佳男配角, Best Sound Effect最佳音响效果, Best
Original Film Score最佳原创电影音乐, Best Action Choreography 最佳动作设计, Best
Actress 最佳女主角 , Best
Director最佳导演 and Best Film Awards 最佳电影.
Best Actor最佳男主角: 张家辉《激战》
Nick Cheung张家辉 has proven himself unbeatable for winning The Best Actor this year with his movie 《激战》. He has undergone a terribly tough times building up his body for the movie. Plus, his amazing acting skill has totally won over the hearts of the film audiences. Thus, he totally deserved the awards!
He has temporarily broken the winning streak of 《一代宗师》 The Grandmasters.

Best Actress 最佳女主角：章子怡《一代宗師》
Zhang ZiYi’s Gong Er has been a very convincing and memorable character thanks to her splendid acting.
Best Director最佳导演：王家卫《一代宗师》
The last time for the director to stand on stage for this award was during 1994. He felt very grateful for being able to stand on the stage again after 20 years since then. An amazing director he is, 王家卫!
Best Supporting Actress 最佳女配角：Kara Hui 惠英紅《殭屍》
Kara Hui, an actress who has been actively taking part in filming industry. She was actually the winner of Best Actress in 1st Hong Kong Film Awards. Despite winning such a prominent awards in the past, she has never given up her enthusiasm in filming and this totally deserved our respect!
Best Supporting Actor 最佳男配角:
张晋 《一代宗师 》
His
wife Ada Choi was crying when he was giving the speech on the stage!
Some people used to say that he needs to depends on his wife because his wife has been a very successful actress in dramas. Well, he stated that he indeed needs to depend on Ada, in the aspect for his true happiness! He thanked her for going through the tough times with him. His speech has totally melted his wife's heart.
Best Film From Mainland And Taiwan最佳两岸华语电影:
赵薇《致我们终将逝去的青春》
This is definitely a pleasant reward and a good kick start for Zhao Wei because it was the first film she directed and it has successfully granted her a best film award in 金像奖!
Besides just the presentation of awards, there was a moment of sentiment with background music of 《不了情》 whereby a few of the deceased prominent figures in the filming industry were thanked and remembered. Their contributions will be cherished and they will always be in the memories of everyone!
